Arrival Confirmed!!!

WE HAVE ARRIVED!!

Praises:
  1. We made all of our flights, and have arrived safely in Caruaru.
  2. We were met by Phil, who drove us the two hours through beautiful tropical country...
  3. On our arrival in Caruaru, Rita and her crew had a wonderful beef dinner, mashed potatoes, rice, carrots, salad and wonderful juices of Brazil!
Prayer:
  1. We arrived safely... but our luggage did not! The 12 suitcases checked in did not make it from LAX through Miami to Recife. Please pray that we will receive our luggage tomorrow.
  2. Pray for us to be refreshed tomorrow, so we can be ready for whatever the Lord has for us to do.
(We have decided to have each one of us send a note consecutively to you!.... I will do today and we will try to send you one each day.)

(I heard through instant message they were headed to the drugstore to pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste and essentials. American Airlines doesn't fly into Recife again until tomorrow morning. Be praying that the suitcases arrive tomorrow!!)

    Ok...first of all, I am so bummed to have missed Ron's phone call home, BUT, the positive is that I have his voicemail that I can play over and over! :)
    As this unfolds, we have to remember that there are no "oops" with God. He has a purpose & plan for this trip that even missing luggage can't stop!! I will be praying that He shows Himself faithful to them in the chaos of not having the things they need at hand.
    Praise Him for safe travel!!
